Installing & Pairing a New Suncorp Move 5000 EFTPOS Terminal
Description
Use when installing or replacing a Suncorp Move 5000 EFTPOS terminal and pairing it with Tower POS using Linkly Cloud.
Before You Start
Ensure you have:
- New EFTPOS terminal
- Linkly Cloud username and password (from table or new one emailed)
- Access to Tower POS Setup
- Terminal powered on
Configure Linkly Cloud
- Press Function.
- Enter 11112227.
- Press Enter.

Entering Letters
When typing on the terminal:
- Press the corresponding number.
- Press Function to cycle through:
- Upper case
- Lower case
- Numbers
Tip
. is entered by pressing 1, then pressing Function four times.
Step 2 – Connect to Wi-Fi
- Press Function.
- Enter 100.
- Search for available Wi-Fi.
- Select the store Wi-Fi.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password. P8kcPR48D9kNT5Kv
- Press Clear/ cancel twice to exit.
Step 3 – Select Wi-Fi as the Active Connection
- Press Function.
- Enter 6.
- Select Wi-Fi.
Step 4 – Log On
- Press Function.
- Enter 102.
- Wait for the terminal to log on.
Step 5 – Restart the Terminal
Hold:
Function + Clear
The terminal should now display: Ready to Pair
Step 6 – Configure Tower POS
On the POS computer:
- Open Tower.
- Go to Setup.
- Select Point of Sale.
- Select Terminals.
- Open Third Party Integrations.
- Click Setup.
- Select the relevant POS terminal.
- Enter the Linkly Cloud username and password.
- Use the credential grid or the latest credentials supplied by Linkly.
Step 7 – Pair the Terminal
- On the EFTPOS terminal, press Enter when prompted.
- Click Pair in Tower.
- Enter the pairing PIN displayed on the EFTPOS terminal.
- Wait for pairing to complete.
Step 8 – Test
Complete a test transaction to confirm transaction shows on EFTPOS machine
